Troubleshooting Connectivity

If you’re unable to reach your server, follow these quick steps to identify and fix connectivity problems:

1. Check Server Status

Verify that your server is online from your client area or control panel.

2. Test Network Reachability

Use ping or traceroute to check if the server responds:

ping your-server-ip
tracert your-server-ip

3. Review Firewall Settings

Ensure your IP isn’t blocked and required ports (SSH, RDP, HTTP, etc.) are open.

4. Restart Network Services

A simple restart of network services or the whole server may resolve temporary issues.

5. Verify Your Local Network

Check your own internet connection, VPN, or router settings to rule out local problems.
